Features
・Quick Chaser IMP detects known types of IMP-type MBL
→Quick Chaser IMP detects all variants of IMP-type MBL (1 to 44), except variants having amino acid sequences not reported so far (IMP-17, 23, 31, 36, and 39).
・Correlation between results obtained by Quick Chaser IMP and those by PCR was 100% for 378 strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and intestinal bacteria.
・A result can be obtained in a short time (approximately 20 minutes after collection of colonies) .
(Quick Chaser IMP does not show any cross-reaction with other types of MBL, including VIM-1, VIM-2 or NDM-1. However, there is a possibility of cross-reactions with SIM-1 type or TMB-1 type MBL, because of the homology in amino acid sequences) .
